Athens > What a ball!

  Adidas introduced “Finale Athens”, the ball which is going to be used in the Champions League final between Milan and Liverpool on May 23, in Athens, Greece.

The ball has technology ‘+Teamgeistt’, a 14-piece configuration which reduces the number of points of contact in three pieces in a 60 per cent, and also the length ofthe lines of each piece in a 15 per cent. That is what makes the ball perfectly round and provides the best football players of Europe with more precision and control, said Adidas in a press release.

The design of the new ball is based on the logotype of the Champions League stars ball, and its colors are Blue and white, the ones of Greece’s flag.
