Two revelers enjoy the sun during Saturday’s gay rights march through central Athens. Around 1,000 people joined the march, Greece’s third annual Gay Parade, to protest discrimination against gays and lesbians. A concert rounded off the celebrations in the city center.
However, please note that the above stated figure was quoted by the media, and certainly not by Police estimates. Unfortunately I was not there, so I cannot argue, but thank you anyway for pointing us to this issue. Certainly your testimony, as an eye-witness, is important.

Actually, the people who joined the march are claimed to be 2000. I was there… it was more than 1000 for sure..
