Athens Mayor Nikitas Kaklamanis takes part in a flag-raising ceremony on the Acropolis yesterday held to mark the departure of German occupation forces from Athens 63 years ago.
“One way to maintain history written by others and revive collective historical memories is to save and pass on moments of freedom” said the Mayor.
