St. Augustine: The Old City puts on its annual Greek Landing Festival on Friday and Saturday.

A tribute to the 1768 arrival of the first Greeks in North America, the festival is at the St. Photios National Greek Orthodox Shrine on 41 St. George St. St. Photios has a chapel filled with Byzantine-style frescoes and a museum with exhibits that tell the story of the first Greek colony in America.

Among the activities planned are folk music and a craft fair. Greek food will be sold. Admission is free.
