We, as individuals, might achieve a status where we fear nothing, where we hope for nothing, and consequently are free from these elements of self gratification. HOWEVER, we are, or incorporated within our beings, there struggles, a portion of the movement to be evermore complex and capable. Thus we have a responsibility to maximize whatever potential we and our fellows have. Waste or misuse of ability is the greatest sin, the greatest offense to life itself.
