Event begins August 17 in East Pittsburgh.

Presentation of Christ Greek Orthodox Church will hold its 23rd annual Greek Food Festival Thursday, August 17, through Sunday, August 20, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at Olympia Banquet Facility, 1575 Electric Ave., East Pittsburgh.

The event features dinners of souvlakia, chicken a la Greco and fish plaki, and numerous a la carte and pastry items inside the banquet hall (indoor line closes at 9:30 p.m.).

Gyros, sandwiches and fries will be served in the outdoor “Grecian garden.”

Grecian Odyssey Dancers will perform at 7 and 8:15 nightly.

Junior Olympian Dancers will perform at 12:30 (indoors) and 6 p.m. each day.

Music will be provided by Grecian Express.

Beverages include soft drinks, coffee, tea, ouzo, wine and beer.
